My husband and I are 1.5 years into our business "Trees Have Feelings." What began as a little bit of whimsical doodling has become a full-fledged business thanks to Agatha's branding and marketing expertise, coaching, hard work, and friendship over the past year. Had we not hired Agatha to be our consultant, we would not be the rapidly growing multi-dimensional, small business we are today. Frankly, I'm stunned by how far we've come in this short time.

I was originally referred to Agatha by a friend who had hired her (and loved her) for several projects. She and I immediately connected on a multitude of levels, and it was clear Agatha would be able to offer the structure, creativity, and strategy to a business my husband and I knew nothing about. I'm a former TV producer and the hubs is a former gym owner -- I'm the artist/writer, he's the behind-the-scenes business guy. It's safe to say we knew nothing about fine art, framing, home decor, printing, greeting cards, journals, or other gift items, let alone how to sell it and grow as a retailer.

Agatha's plan began with taking our basic website and building it into the visually appealing, high-functioning beauty it is today -- that alone is worth the cost of admission. There is no way we could have managed this on our own, and paying someone to build even the most basic retail website would have been too expensive. She has taught us words like SEO, impressions, organic reach, and re-targeting. She also uses those words and makes magical things happen. She has created and built our social media presence and schedule. She coaches me regularly about how to continue building said organic reach and how best to connect with and hold onto my customers. She teaches us about pricing and consumer behavior. She and my husband do things involving math (I don’t ask). She pushes me out of my artistic comfort zone (classic imposter syndrome stuff), and when I finish resisting and do what she says, my self-confidence grows. I grow, we grow, and our business grows.

She does so much more than I can write in a relatively short review, and don’t get me started on how freaking funny she is -- we laugh until we cry! Know that she's an encourager, creator, partner, teacher, believer, leader, soul reader, and truth teller who will not over-promise or under-deliver. Trust that she has her finger on the pulse of what's happening in the world of marketing in this ever-changing, algorithm-driven crazy world. Believe that she's the real deal, is worth her weight in gold, and is hugely appreciated by us.
